We benefit from partnerships with organizations that specialize in data surveillance.

  1. Access general tobacco facts and resources at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services - Tobacco Prevention and Control Program website.
  2. The Center for Urban Population Health prepares a Tobacco Facts Report.
  3. Read the First Breath Annual Report from the Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation.                                                                                   2021_first_breath_annual_report_final.pdf

Wisconsin's Tobacco Prevention and Control Movement underwent a planning process in 2019, resulting in a state plan 2020-2025. [Click here to access the plan.]

Thank you to the Tobacco Prevention and Control Movement leaders who served on the Strategic Planning Core Team and its focus area small groups for providing your time and expertise to draft this plan. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the draft plan, as well. The plan includes a snapshot of current data in several different areas, related to youth prevention, tobacco treatment, secondhand smoke exposure, and health disparities.
